The Real World.

As scary as it is for me to say, I graduate college in May. Every time I go shopping now, I can't help but start to think about transitioning my wardrobe from casual college duds to fancier, "Please give me a job" clothes. I purchased this black skirt on clearance for $10 at Gap and I instantly got excited about looking for a job and more importantly, the excuse to get dressed up everyday.

But for the time being, I think this skirt will suffice as part of my Thanksgiving day outfit.

It's just one of those days....

Actually, more like week. I'm conquering this dreary Wednesday with a Kelly Cutrone inspired look, all black of course. I promise I'll stop talking about Kelly Cutrone soon. Until then, check out the hump day duds:

I never wear all black but I'm kind of digging it today...what's your mid week look?

In a Perfect World:

  • I would have gotten a snow day today.
  • I would have more time to blog.
  • Lastly, and I think most importantly, a very fashionable stork would deliver these perfect Spring items right into my closet:

A girl can dream, right? What are your Spring fashion cravings?

Bring on the romance.

While a large amount of people are probably dreading Valentine's Day, which is only two weeks away, I cannot help but to be inspired by all of the colors the holiday brings! The romantic hues of red and pink are present in my frequently viewed online shopping spots. With the freezing weather here this past week, a little color goes a long way. Check out my favorite affordable Valentine's Day inspired looks:

What are your favorite V-day inspired looks?

Preppy Basics.

One of my closest friends Chris is struggling with an addiction; an addiction to Martin and Osa. This relatively new retail store, owned by American Eagle, is the perfect blend of afordable preppy basics with a classic style. His entire wardrobe is from this company, as seen in the pictures below! Take a look at Chris' favorite seasonal outfits:

Fall Look- my personal fave!

I've heard a rumor the company is closing down- hope that's not true for Chris' sake!

Hoppin' on the Polyvore bandwagon.

If you haven't already heard of this highly addictive website...brace yourself. If your favorite part of the movie Clueless was Cher's digitalized  closet, then you must check out this site! Polyvore is a free site that lets you browse through images (mostly clothes) in order to create what they call a "set". You can create different outfits, collages, and even design rooms for the interior design buffs out there. They have a database of every brand, designer, and clothing product out there...find something you like? They will direct you to the store's webpage if you would like to purchase an item.I highly recommend this site to anyone who loves fashion and coming up with different outfits and styles. Take a look at some of my favorite sets I've done so far...
